The STI-6400 is a compact and effective solution to prevent unauthorized use of an emergency exit and to combat shoplifting via the emergency door. When the door opens, the magnetic contact is interrupted and a loud alarm sounds immediately. After closing the door, the alarm stops. With the included key, the alarm can be temporarily disabled so the door can be opened without alarm—convenient for authorized access or service.
Application
Suitable for, among others, shops, schools, universities, hospitals, care facilities, hotels, offices, and public buildings. Wherever emergency doors are used unintentionally or undesirably, the STI-6400 increases compliance and safety awareness.
Operation
The alarm is placed next to or on the door and connected with a magnetic contact. Once the door opens, the system activates an audible alarm. Close the door, and the alarm stops. A key function allows controlled use without triggering the alarm.
