This robust protective cover made of impact-resistant polycarbonate prevents unwanted or false alarms in fire alarm control panels. The cover is easily placed over a surface-mounted manual (fire) call point and is equipped with a built-in siren that sounds as soon as the cover is opened. This discourages misuse while ensuring the call point remains immediately usable in emergencies.
The latest version is equipped with Glow Guide technology. This material emits a halo of light around the manual call point in the dark, making it easy to find even during power outages or in poorly lit areas.
The protective cover has been used worldwide for many years in schools, universities, hospitals, care institutions, hotels, and public buildings. Wherever false alarms occur and reliability of the fire alarm system is essential, this product provides a solution.
The cover consists of a transparent polycarbonate window with a hinge and a lid that falls over it. The window is mounted directly over the manual call point, after which the lid covers the call point. This creates a clear barrier against unnecessary pressing of the manual call point, without hindering its operation in case of emergency. Optionally, a plastic break seal can be mounted. When opening the cover, this seal must be broken, creating an additional barrier for vandals.
The protective cover is standard supplied with a red and green insert. For the red insert (fire alarm), the text is:
IN CASE OF FIRE – LIFT COVER, BREAK THE GLASS
For the green insert (access control), the text is:
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY – LIFT COVER, BREAK THE GLASS TO OPEN DOOR
The included stickers are available in 13 languages, including Dutch.
The cover is made of transparent, impact-resistant polycarbonate and is equipped with a built-in siren. The mounting is suitable for surface-mounted manual call points with a 32 mm surface-mounted edge. The product is supplied with red and green inserts, stickers in multiple languages, mounting materials, installation instructions, and a demo break seal. The polycarbonate has been tested for use between -40 °C and +50 °C, and the product comes with a three-year warranty under normal use.
For a surface-mounted protective cover without siren, choose type STI 15C10ML. For flush-mounted manual call points, there is a version without a 50 mm surface-mounted edge. Additionally, the protective covers are also available in the colors blue, yellow, white, black, and orange.

The thermostat cover looks nice in the hallway. Children can no longer reach it and the material feels sturdy. The assembly video was helpful.
