The STI 13120EG-NLD is the successor to the renowned STI 6535/D. This robust protective cover made of UV-stabilized, hardened polycarbonate is designed to prevent false alarms in fire alarm control panels. The cover is suitable for outdoor applications and is easily placed over a surface-mounted manual (fire) detector. The integrated 96 dB deterrent alarm (siren) sounds as soon as the cover is opened, strongly discouraging misuse while keeping the detector immediately accessible in emergencies.
This product has been successfully used worldwide for years in schools, universities, hospitals, hotels, care institutions, and public buildings. Wherever false alarms cause nuisance, costs, and unnecessary evacuations, this protective cover offers a reliable solution without hindering operation in emergencies.
The cover is made of UV-stabilized polycarbonate and remains reliable between -40 °C and +49 °C. Thanks to the IP54 sealing, the model is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It is a surface-mounted model with an open back; vertical mounting is recommended. Due to the curved shape, the specified depth may vary slightly.

The cover is made of impact-resistant polycarbonate, suitable for surface-mounted manual call points and easy to place over an existing detector. Besides this version, variants are available in other colors, label texts, and mounting options.

The STI 13120FR-NLD complies with IP54 and is UL/cUL Listed. The product comes standard with a three-year warranty against breakage under normal use; the polycarbonate has a lifetime warranty under normal use.

The thermostat cover looks nice in the hallway. Children can no longer reach it and the material feels sturdy. The assembly video was helpful.
