  • Compact model, suitable for light and medium-heavy doors weighing 20-80 kg. This Türschließer is therefore ideal for most residential applications and offers reliable closing force.
  • Version with parallel mounting: the Türschließer is mounted on the door leaf, while the sliding rail is mounted on the underside of the frame on the push side of the door.
  • Equipped with a hold-open function in the sliding rail, so the door can remain open. With a slight movement, the Türschließer is released from the hold-open position and the door closes automatically.
  • Not suitable for older doors, such as those in 1930s houses. The sliding rail of this Türschließer works best on newer frames with a flat surface and minimal irregularities, such as without decorative profiles.
  • Due to the hold-open function, not suitable for fire-resistant doors according to NEN 1154

Description

Compact door closer with parallel-mounted sliding rail and hold-open function; suitable for light to medium-heavy doors (20–80 kg). Ideal for residential projects where a quiet, controlled closing and neat finish are desired.

Note: Door closers with hold-open function are not suitable for use on fire doors intended for compartmentation.

Installation options

The adjustable door closer makes it possible to control the closing speed and the final stroke separately. This way, the speed of the first 150 degrees and the last 30 degrees of closing can be set as desired. For example, choose fast closing and soft latching, or the other way around.

With the hold-open function in the sliding rail, the opening angle can be easily adjusted. A light push is enough to release the door closer from the hold-open position, after which the door closes automatically.

Slide arm parallel mounting

In this method, the door closer is mounted on the door and the arm is attached to the underside of the frame. You push the door away from you when opening. Parallel mounting is often used when there is no suitable frame above the door available.

Advantage of parallel installation

The arm runs horizontally along with the door and the door closer, so there are no protruding parts.

How do I adjust my doorcloser

-Tip: Open the door fully and tighten both adjustment screws of the doorcloser
-If done correctly, the door will stay open and will not close.
-Then slowly loosen the correct adjustment screw a little, so the door closes gently.
