Installation options

The D3036-H door closer with sliding arm is easy to install and has an adjustable closing force of 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 (40-150 kg), in accordance with the EN1154 standard for fire resistance. This makes it ideal for locations where reliability and strength are necessary, such as schools, offices, and commercial buildings.

Adjustment options
The door closer has adjustable closing speed and final action, allowing the first 150 degrees and the last 30 degrees to be set separately. This enables choices such as fast closing with a soft final action, or the opposite. The built-in backcheck function prevents the door from being opened too forcefully, which avoids damage during strong winds. The closing force can be easily adjusted after installation using the included Allen key.

Installation advice
  • Tip: Open the door completely and tighten both adjustment screws of the door closer.
  • If this is done correctly, the door will stay open and will not close.
  • Then slowly turn the correct adjustment screw a little open so that the door closes gently.
  • This determines the general closing speed.
  • If the door does not close completely yet, slowly turn the other adjustment screw open to regulate the speed at which the door latches.
  • In this way, you adjust the full closing speed according to your preference.
