The TS 4000-PA door closer from GEZE is known for high demands on use and quality. Door closer with adjustable closing force from the front and display, adjustable from EN2–EN3–EN4–EN5–EN6 (50–150 kg). Of course, the door closer meets all fire and safety regulations.

Installation options

The closing force is continuously adjustable with a display on the front. The hydraulic final stroke speeds up the door just before closing, while the closing delay can be fully set at the front. In addition, the closing speed (first 150°) and final stroke (last 30°) are independently adjustable, so the door closer closes exactly as desired.

Parallel assembly

The complete set (door closer, scissor arm, and parallel bracket) is mounted on the push side of the door against the bottom of the frame. Suitable for both left- and right-hand doors.

Advantage of parallel installation

The arm runs horizontally along with the door and the door closer, so there are no protruding parts.

Installation advice
  • Tip: Fully open the door and tighten both adjustment screws of the Türschließer.
  • If done correctly, the door will stay open and will not close.
  • Then slowly loosen the correct adjustment screw a little, so the door closes gently.
  • This determines the general closing speed.
  • If the door still does not close completely, slowly loosen the other adjustment screw to control the speed at which the door latches.
  • This way you can adjust the full closing speed to your preference.
