The closing force is adjustable from the front and is visually displayed through a clear window, so the correct setting is immediately visible.
Equipped with integrated opening damping, the Türschließer protects the door against strong wind and careless use.
Including an open-hold mechanism in the parallel arm, which allows the door to remain open at a desired angle.

Developed for semi-professional and professional use, making it less suitable for light or narrow interior doors.
The Türschließer is in a higher price range.

Description

Powerful GEZE TS 4000-HO-PA door closer for parallel installation, with adjustable closing force, integrated opening damper, and hold-open function in the arm. Suitable for professional use on doors weighing 50–150 kg.

Attention!!!
Because this door closer is equipped with a hold-open function, it must not be used on fire-resistant doors for compartmentation.

Installation options

Equipped with a hydraulic final stroke that speeds up the door just before closing. Closing speed and final stroke can be adjusted separately (first 150° and last 30°). The closing delay is also adjustable as desired, all from the front side.

The integrated hold-open mechanism in the scissor arm allows the door to be held open at a chosen angle. A simple move releases the door from the hold-open position. It can also be activated or deactivated via a button in the arm.

Parallel assembly

The complete set (door closer, scissor arm, and parallel bracket) is mounted on the push side of the door against the bottom of the frame. Suitable for both left- and right-hand doors.

Advantage of parallel installation

The arm runs horizontally along with the door and the door closer, so there are no protruding parts.

Installation advice

Tip: Fully open the door and tighten both adjustment screws of the door closer.
If done correctly, the door will stay open and will not close.
Then slowly loosen the correct adjustment screw a little, so the door closes gently.
This determines the general closing speed.
If the door does not close completely yet, slowly loosen the other adjustment screw to control the speed at which the door latches.
This way you can adjust the full closing speed to your preference.
