Due to its high closing force, this Türschließer is not suitable for light interior doors, but designed for semi-professional and professional applications.
Do not use the hold-open function for fire-resistant doors.

Description

This powerful door closer with hold-open function is suitable for intensive professional use. Thanks to the wide force adjustment range of 40-150 kg, it can be used for almost all heavy doors and is ideal for situations with heavy foot traffic.
Hold-open function
The built-in hold-open function in the scissor arm allows you to set the desired open angle yourself.
With a simple action, you can release the door from the open position, after which it closes automatically.
Note.
Because this door closer is equipped with a hold-open function, it must not be used on fire doors that serve for compartmentation.

Installation options

This door closer has an adjustable closing speed and final stroke.
You can set the closing speed for the first 150 degrees as desired and separately control the final 30 degrees of the closing stroke.
This way, you can, for example, have the door close quickly and pull slowly into the latch, or vice versa.
Additionally, this door closer features a backcheck function that provides extra protection against strong wind.
The closing force can be easily adjusted after installation using the included Allen key.

Installation advice

Tip: Fully open the door and tighten both adjustment screws of the Türschließer.
If done correctly, the door will stay open and will not close.
Then slowly turn the correct adjustment screw a little to open, so the door closes gently.
