Hold open function
This door closer has a hold-open function in the scissor arm. You can set the angle at which the door remains in the hold-open position. With a simple push you can take the door closer out of the hold-open position and close it again.

Setting advice
Tip: Open the door completely and close both adjusting screws of the door closer.
If you did it correctly, the door will now stay open and will not close again.
If you now slowly turn the correct screw a little, the door will slowly close.
This allows you to determine the closing speed.
If you did it right, the door should not close all the way now.
If you now slowly turn the other screw you can determine the speed at which the door closes.
This way you can adjust the entire closing speed to your own preference.
