This door closer has a special backcheck function that protects your door against strong winds and acts as a shock absorber. This prevents damage caused by, for example, a strong gust of wind.

You can adjust the force of the door closer after installation using the supplied Allen key.

The arm of the closer does not protrude but runs horizontally with the door and the frame. It looks nicer and is useful when there is a curtain or roller door directly behind the door

The hold-open function in the arm also functions as the end stop / maximum opening angle.

Due to the parallel mounting, this door closer can only be mounted on the push side of the door and not on the pull side.

Description
The D-3036-PA door closer is easy to install and has a closing force of 3 - 4 - 5 -6 (40-150KG) in accordance with the EN1154 standard. This standard is drawn up by the fire brigade with regard to fire resistance.

Setting options
This door closer has an adjustable closing speed and latching action.
This means that you can set the closing speed of the 1st 150 degrees as desired and the last 30 degrees final stroke independently of each other.
For example, you can have the door close quickly and then slowly pull the door into the lock or vice versa.
This door closer also has a ''backcheck'' function which protects your door against strong winds.
You can adjust the force after installation with the supplied Allen key.

Hold open function
This door closer has a hold-open function in the scissor arm.
You can set the angle at which the door remains in the open position.

Parallel mounting
The assembly (door closer and parallel arm) is mounted on the push side of the door against the bottom of the frame.
This door closer is suitable for left and right-turning doors.

Setting advice
Tip: Open the door completely and close both adjusting screws of the door closer.
If you did it correctly, the door will now stay open and will not close again.
If you now slowly turn the correct screw a little, the door will slowly close.
This allows you to determine the closing speed.
If you did it right, the door should not close all the way now.
If you now slowly turn the other screw you can determine the speed at which the door closes.
This way you can adjust the entire closing speed to your own preference.
