Parallel mounting version: the door closer is placed on the door leaf, while the slide rail is mounted at the bottom of the frame on the push side of the door.

Equipped with a hold-open function in the slide rail, allowing the door to remain open. A light movement releases the door closer from the hold-open position, and the door closes automatically.

Not suitable for older doors, such as those in 1930s homes. The sliding track of this door closer works best on newer frames with a smooth surface and minimal imperfections, such as those without decorative moldings.

Description
Model D904-H-PA-HO features a parallel slide rail system, making it easy to install on newer doors. This door closer has a closing force of 2-3-4 (20-80 kg), in accordance with the EN1154 standard.

Please note: Door closers with a hold-open function are not suitable for use on fire-resistant doors intended for compartmentalisation.

Setting options
The adjustable door closer allows you to control the closing speed and latching action separately. This allows you to adjust the speed of the first 150 degrees and the last 30 degrees of closing to your preference. For example, choose fast closing and soft closing, or vice versa.

Hold-open function:
The hold-open function in the slide rail makes it easy to adjust the opening angle. A light push is enough to release the door closer from the hold-open position, after which the door closes automatically.

Assembly
Suitable for both left and right turning doors.

Parallel mounting:
With parallel door leaf installation, the door closer is mounted on the door and the arm is mounted on the bottom of the frame. The door opens away from you. This mounting method is often used when a standard frame is not available.

Setting advice
Tip: Open the door fully and tighten both adjusting screws on the door closer.
If the door remains open, slowly turn the appropriate adjusting screw until the door closes smoothly. This determines the overall closing speed.
If the door doesn't close completely, slowly turn the other adjusting screw to adjust the latching action. This allows the latch to be fully adjusted to your preference.
