The door closer's arm doesn't protrude but runs horizontally along the door and frame. This creates a sleek look and is practical for curtains or roller doors directly behind the door.

The hold-open function in the arm also functions as an end stop for the maximum opening angle.

Due to the parallel mounting, this door closer can only be mounted on the push side of the door and not on the pull side.

Description
The D-3036-PA door closer is easy to install and has a closing force of 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 (40-150 kg) in accordance with the EN1154 standard.

NB.
Because this door closer is equipped with a hold-open function, it may not be used on fire-resistant doors for compartmentalisation.

Setting options
This door closer has an adjustable closing speed and latching action.
You can set the closing speed of the first 150 degrees and the last 30 degrees separately.
For example: quick closing with slow final stroke or vice versa.
In addition, the door closer has a backcheck function that provides protection against strong winds.
Closing force is easily adjusted after installation using the supplied Allen key.

Keep-open function
Equipped with a hold-open function in the scissor arm, which allows you to set the desired angle yourself.

Parallel mounting
The complete set (door closer and parallel arm) is mounted on the push side of the door, directly under the frame.
Suitable for both left and right turning doors.

Setting advice
Tip: Open the door fully and tighten both adjusting screws.
If this is done correctly the door will stay open.
Then slowly turn the appropriate adjustment screw slightly to set the desired closing speed.
If the door does not close completely, slowly turn the other adjusting screw to adjust the speed at which the door closes.
This way you can adjust the closing speed completely to your preference.
