This small door closer can be used for light and medium heavy doors of 20-60 kg. This makes this door closer perfect for most residential applications.

This door closer has a cover cap on the visible side over the adjustment screws which gives the door closer a more chic look. Because the adjustment options are located at the front, this door closer is very user-friendly.

The length of the arm can be adjusted by a sliding mechanism, which makes installation easier and faster.

This little powerhouse has less power than its heavier brothers such as the D2025 or the D3036, which means it works optimally with doors up to a width of 1000 mm and will be somewhat less powerful above that.

Description
The D 903 door closer is easy to mount on any door and has a closing force of 2 - 3 - 4 (20-60KG) in accordance with the EN1154 standard. This standard is drawn up by the fire brigade with regard to fire resistance.

Setting options
This door closer has an adjustable closing speed and latching action.
This means that you can set the closing speed of the 1st 150 degrees as desired and set the last 30 degrees separately.
For example, you can have the door close quickly and then slowly pull the door into the lock or vice versa.

Assembly
This door closer is suitable for left and right-turning doors.

Door leaf mounting: door closer on the door, arm on the frame, you pull the door open towards you.

Frame mounting: door closer on the frame, arm on the door, you push the door away from you when opening it.

Setting advice
Tip: Open the door completely and close both adjusting screws of the door closer.
If you did it correctly, the door will now stay open and will not close again.
If you now slowly turn the correct screw a little, the door will slowly close.
This allows you to determine the closing speed.
If you did it right, the door should not close all the way now.
If you now slowly turn the other screw you can determine the speed at which the door closes.
This way you can adjust the entire closing speed to your own preference.
