The STI-1219 is a transparent, impact-resistant polycarbonate protective cover for signaling devices such as strobes, sirens, horns, and loudspeakers. It protects against impact, vandalism, and unauthorized operation. The slots in the dome allow the siren or horn to pass through, while the enclosed rear cover provides additional protection and neatly conceals wiring. The STI-1219 is used worldwide in schools, universities, hospitals, hotels, elderly care facilities, offices, and public buildings.

Application
Choose the STI-1219 when signaling devices are in plain sight or at risk of damage or misuse. The enclosed rear cover shields the unit all around, helping to minimize contamination and tampering. Its service-friendly design allows for easy maintenance access.

Operation
The hood is placed over the signal generator and secured to the surface using the included rear case. The slots in the hood ensure that the light and sound remain functional, while the housing physically protects the equipment.

The material is hardened, UV-stabilized polycarbonate. The cover is suitable for signaling devices (strobe, siren, horn/speaker). Versions for other mounting and color options are available. A three-year warranty against breakage under normal use is provided; the polycarbonate has a lifetime warranty under normal use. The material is tested for use between –40°C and +49°C.
