STI 1217 protective cover for signal transmitters and temperature sensors

The STI-1217 is a transparent, impact-resistant polycarbonate protective cover that protects signaling devices such as strobes, sirens, horns, and loudspeakers from impact, vandalism, and unauthorized operation. The cover's slots ensure the siren or horn remains audible. Besides signaling devices, this cover is also suitable for temperature sensors, sensors, and (wireless) repeaters. The product is used worldwide in schools, universities, hospitals, hotels, elderly care facilities, offices, and public buildings.

Application
Use the STI-1217 when equipment is in plain view or at risk of damage or misuse. The open back makes it easy to install over existing units while providing quick access for service and maintenance.

Operation
The cover is placed over the sounder or sensor and secured to the surface. The slots in the cover allow sound and light to pass through, maintaining the functional performance of sirens, horns, or strobes, while the housing provides protection against physical impact and accidental activation.
