Description
The KD-051-F door closer is easy to install on virtually any door and has a closing force of 1-2 (20-40 kg), in accordance with the EN1154 standard. This standard is used by the fire department for fire resistance.

Setting options
This door closer has an adjustable closing speed and latching action.
You can adjust the closing speed over the first 150 degrees to your preference and set the last 30 degrees (latch) separately.

Assembly
This door closer is suitable for both left and right turning doors.

Door leaf mounting : door closer on the door, arm on the frame, you pull the door open towards you.



Frame mounting : door closer on the frame, arm on the door, you push the door away from you when opening.

Setting advice
Tip: Open the door fully and tighten both adjusting screws on the door closer.
If this is done correctly, the door will stay open and not close.
Then slowly open the first adjustment screw until the door closes quietly.
This determines the overall closing speed.
If the door does not close completely, slowly open the second adjustment screw to adjust the speed of the latching action (closing in the lock).
In this way you can fully adjust the door closer to your situation.
