This door closer works with a sliding rail system that ensures smooth and silent closing (soft-close), allowing the door to close silently.

This door closer with slide rails is less suitable for older doors, such as those in 1930s homes. The slide rail system works best on newer window frames with a smooth surface and minimal imperfections, such as decorative moldings.

The D904-H-HO door closer is easy to install thanks to the slide rail system and has a closing force of 2 - 3 (20-60 kg), Complies with the EN1154 standard. This door closer features a hold-open mechanism mounted in the slide rail, allowing you to adjust the desired opening angle.

Please note: Because this door closer is equipped with a hold-open function, it must not be used on fire-resistant doors for compartmentalisation.

Setting options
This door closer has an adjustable closing speed and latching action.
You can set the closing speed of the first 150 degrees and the final stroke of the last 30 degrees independently of each other.
This allows you to determine whether the door closes quickly and locks slowly, or the other way around.

Hold-open function:
This door closer features a hold-open function in the slide arm. You can adjust the angle at which the door remains in the hold-open position. With a light movement, you can release the door from the hold-open position and it will close automatically.

Assembly
Suitable for both left and right turning doors.

Door leaf installation: door closer on the door, slide arm on the frame. You pull the door towards you to open it.



Frame installation: door closer on the frame, slide arm on the door. You push the door away from you to open it.

Setting advice
Tip: Open the door fully and tighten both adjusting screws on the door closer.
If this is done correctly, the door will stay open and not close.
Then slowly turn the appropriate adjusting screw a little so that the door closes quietly.
This determines the overall closing speed.
If the door does not close completely, slowly turn the other adjusting screw to adjust the speed of the closing action.
This allows you to fully adjust the closing speed to your preference.
